  Longing with ache
  Tears stinging
  Her eyelids
  Her cheeks...
  Arms wrapped
  Around her shoulders
  Rocking
  To and fro
  Seeing nothing
  Hearing nothing
  Feeling nothing
  But the emptiness
  And the heave
  Of her chest
  As she sobs
  With unspoken pain...
  And she waits
  For the emptiness
  To dissipate
  For something
  Or someone
  To fill the void
  As the tears fall
  Unnoticed
  From her flushed
  Cheeks...
  Unaware
  And numb
  She waits
